Punarchith (a registered Trust) is a collective that works on alternative learning for rural youth, restoration of degraded agricultural land, conservation of soil, seeds, water and biodiversity, research on rural and agrarian issues, and community mobilization for democratic rights. It is currently working in Chamarajanagar district and is based in Nagavalli village, Karnataka.

Punarchit stresses on the vital links between sustainable agriculture, local production, evolved knowledge, and workers' rights. In an attempt to link local agricultural production to value-addition and village based employment opportunities, Punarchith has initiated Honneru or ‘First Plough’: a rural producers’ collective. The collective consists of women and youth from the rural areas of Chamarajanagar District, and is a source of supplementary livelihood for them.
