Duration: 10 months, full-time
Eligibility: United States or Indian citizens aged 21-34 having a bachelor’s degree
Format: Volunteer service program that matches fellows with development organizations

Eligibility: Bachelors’ degree in any field, 0-3 years’ experience, strong analytical and presentation skills, excellent communication (written and oral, in English and Hindi), ability to work in a team environment
Format: Fellows are placed in Madhya Pradesh or Chhattisgarh in one of our maternal and child health field programmes. They work alongside Programme Officers to support intervention design, implementation, monitoring, communication, and so on; tasks are assigned based on programme needs and the fellow’s interest and skills, and involve working closely with the community and government

ART OF LIVING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Duration: One year, full-time
Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students
Format: Interns are involved in educating the underprivileged and engaging in slum development activities

Duration: Three years (plus life-long membership)
Eligibility: Entrepreneurs with a new system changing idea that addresses pertinent social or environmental issues
Format: Fellows receive a stipend for the three year period to work on their initiative full-time. They also receive access to a network of like-minded social entrepreneurs, wellbeing support, peer-learning opportunities, and so on

Eligibility: Under 20 years of age, founder/co-founder of an initiative that is addressing social or environmental issues at the community level
Format: Young Changemakers receive mentorship, access to curated opportunities, media support, leadership training, invitations to Ashoka events and programmes; and are expected to lead local-level initiative to empower young people

AZIM PREMJI FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIP
Duration: Two years, full-time
Eligibility: 4-10 years’ work experience; degree in any discipline; proficiency in English and one of Hindi, Kannada, Tamil or Telugu; below 35 years of age
Format: Fellows teach in government schools in rural India to develop an understanding of the ground realities of the public education system

Duration: 9 months
Eligibility: Individuals or small groups with several years of professional research experience, based full-time in India, who have the capacity to undertake rigorous research during the fellowship period and produce a working paper of publishable quality
Format: Fellows will conduct research related to Indian philanthropy and giving trends, attending monthly calls, and participating in three online workshops to develop your skills in background research, literature review, data collection methods, analysis, and writing; at the end of the fellowship, fellows are expected to produce an 8,000-word high-quality working paper to be published on CSIP’s website

DEVELOPMENT ALTERNATIVE FELLOWSHIP
Duration: One year, part-time
Eligibility: Interest in implementing solutions to climate change
Format: A one-year immersive programme for 20 fellows, based on a mentor-mentee framework (Track 1: Fellows willing to commit to a 1 year fully residential fellowship; Track 2: Fellows who are advanced in their careers and continue to work will have their curriculum and mentorship experience made flexible and customised to their availability)

Eligibility: Kanthari is for people who have decided to start an organisation or nonprofit to make a difference, welcoming applicants (minimum 22 years of age) who have overcome significant life challenges and carry a plan for social change because of that, and who have a basic understanding of spoken and written English along with computer skills
Format: Experiential—a seven month residential programme in Kerala with a five act curriculum, followed by five months of remote mentorship support

SECOND CHANCE FELLOWSHIP FOR PRISON REFORMATION
Duration: One year
Eligibility: A bachelor’s degree in criminology, sociology, psychology, social work, law (or associated fields), learning attitude and aptitude for problem-solving, ability to communicate emphatically without judgement, and high emotional resilience
Format: Fellows will work in Indian prisons and hold workshops and sessions on topics such as prevention of gender-based violence, access to justice, conflict management, and so on; and design projects with peer prisoner fellows which will be incubated

Eligibility: Indian citizen/foreign national of Indian origin; bachelor’s degree; fluency in English
Format: Fellows serve as full-time teachers to children from low-income communities in under-served schools

YLAC COUNTER SPEECH FELLOWSHIP
Duration: Two months (part-time 3-4 hours every alternate weekend)
Eligibility: Students in grades 8-12, and aged 13-18 years
Format: Fellows run feeds on Instagram on their selected social themes using visual storytelling with the aim of creating awareness, leading action and extending support
