Gender Spectrum Notebooks by Ruksaar

Ruksaar faced physical and emotional violence from her family members including her father, her brothers and her mother. She was often locked in her room for extended durations. 

After escaping her abusers, Shakti Shalini gave her a grant of Rs. 5000 to buy a simple notebook making machine, with which she could work. But she insisted that it be a loan and not a grant. She then started making notebooks and selling them, and was able to return the entire amount along with interest in one year!
